How much did you buy your 01-05 civic for?

my ex paid 5300 from a used car place for an 02 lx 4dr auto 153k on it in feb 2009 .... trans blew up 6 months later so that was another 2k .... i was suprised cause civic auto's are usually pretty good .... needless to say she was pissed ... told her to buy the 01 altima i found for her but her mom insisted they buy from a dealer and she didnt want her driving anything older than an 02 for some reason

Paid $14,100 in August 2007, but the real deal was getting $3,700 for my POS trade in, a 1999 Sentra GXE with 94K and a serious oil leaking problem and needed suspension work. $3,700 is what I still owed on it and I told them the only way I'd do the deal is if they paid off the Sentra, so they thought about it for two days, and eventually did.
The EX has over 68K on it now and I haven't had to fix/replace a single thing. Except the stereo, hehehe.
