Hi guys!! New to club civic so please dont flame me for this dumb question.
I have a 98 civic with a b16a2 and boosted at 11 psi at about 300hp tuned on hondata s300. The turbo kit that the car has is cheap to say the least. I have recently bought new tial BOV and wastegate. Now i am looking to upgrade my turbo from the cheap ebay one i have. Since this is my first turbo'd car i admit i dont know much about them. I have been looking at gettin at either a precision or bullseye turbo but dont know how i tell which one will bolt up to my current setup. I see that some turbos are t3 or t4 or even t3/t4. I am confused as how i can tell what my current turbo is so i dont buy something that i cant use. Thanks!

That is not always true. Not all T4s are divided housing, and T3s are available in divided housing as well. So it can be had either way per say.

Chances are the OP has a T3 turbine housing on the car. A very simple straight forward way to find out is to just measure the bolt hole distance.

T3 is a smaller frame than T4. T3/T4 is just a hybrid turbo. All 3 are very common.

what are you power goals? you u just wanna stay with 300 range, the a Garrett t3/t4 will be sufficient enough for you, they are rated around 475hp, Or if you wanna upgrade even bigger you can step up to a GT35R, those are Ball Bearing turbos, which give a lil quicker spooling. Let me know if you have anymore questions or need help purchasing one.
