Is tuning necessary when boosting a stock d16? And also do the stock injectors and fuel pump need to be
replaced? say i want to put out 250hp at the wheels and i build my block up to have low comp. on a y7 head

Yes, tuning would be good.

ill put it this way.....you can drive a car untuned....but there's no telling how long you'll be driving it. Be smart, dont risk it and get tuned.

Your not going to make 250 on a stock block. So dont get ur feelings hurt after your tune. If your putting in low compression pistons, might as well do the rods and get ARP in there.. then 250 is doable!

Your going to need new injectors and fuel pump along with a bunch of other stuff.. save your $$ and do it right the 1st time! good luck dooder!

Lets put it this way, my friend ran a supercharger on his v8 Dakota.. untuned/stock injectors etc... 1 week later his new motor cost him $6500

Coo. but would any1 now if for smog i put back in the stock injectors and stock computer, and take out the turbo, so to make it look normal would it pass emissions? with a low comp build?

not in Cali, only turbo setup u can have is the GReddy bolt on kit without further upgrades or the Edlebrock turbo kit.....both over priced and underpowered but carb legal
