Hey everyone first off i got a stock civic hx.

I wanna drop my car at 3 inches if not more. Is there anyway to do this without coilovers? or cut springs?

If not whats the best setup for going that low?

Also Rim/tire sizes

Id like to preferably be like the height of the jetta but the civic is good to

The drop on the GTI is in NO way practical...

Coilovers... can drop you low, check out function and form.

I'd like to be as low as that GTI too, but only in a GTI because they're worthless pieces of s**t and should be smashed to hell anyway. With any other good car like a Honda it's pointless though.

I believe that ksport kontrol pro's will go that low. I got mine for $650 shipped. but i'm not that low.

you might want to look into that if you are on i tight budget.

You can get some lowering springs and pair them with the Koni Yellows that has a lower perch.

Thats nice. I wanna be that low even lower. My quote explains it lol
I gotta raise my s**t up before I get it aligned. My wheels rub and I hate it, but I wish I could keep it this low, it feels so good to open the door and my foot be on the ground. The front bumper is a hand length to the ground and my sides are the height of my shoe, I haven't really measured the rear though.

Alright thanks ima be looking around and get something before christmas or right at the new year.

My thing is when you get that low do you remove the plastic inner fender or wut do u do to hide more tire without rubbing

Also so ej_extasy is that a 3 inch drop your on or how much of a drop do u think your at?

you really really dont want to be that slammed. When you go over speed humps and scrape your exhaust, suspension and oil pan, wheels will grab the fenders and rip them out, its not fun I've been there.. Your just going to f**k your s**t up

Let him learn the hard way.

Don't get me wrong.. I LOVE the "slammed" look.. but it's not practical

:word:
Maybe on a car that rides in a trailer and gets rolled out for shows, but as a daily, f**k that. My favorite thing was ripping down the highway and seeing roadkill.. Ran over 3 dead porquiepines before it ripped my lip off at 80 and I ran it over. Try explaining that to your insurance company.

Yea im kinda out of the whole slammed part but i do want to be really low. I mean my roads arent that bad and i already avoide speed bumps. so i know my way to get around em but i understand to. you can always avoide it.

I had the a crx before with a body kit and 16's that was dropped 2.5 inches. I liked it but i always wanted to go lower so i figured 3 inches would be my goal in the civic
