Well............it happened. My car was stolen

After having a great night at the Metallica concert in Anaheim, CA. I drove back to my house in SD around 2am. Parked my car in the driveway as usual and went to bed. The next day, my mom wakes me up at 7 to ask about the car............it was gone.
I didn't heard nothing, neither my family. That is what I found weird, I have two sirens plus the claxon, 2 kill switches, idk. Maybe towed.
I have full coverage on the car, so let's see what happens when this settles. Hope I get it back, doubt it tho, probably is in TJ right now.

I swear I hear about stolen civics almost everyday, literally. f**king thieves, I'm without a civic right now as I recently sold mine, but it makes me think twice before getting another one (as much as I really want another one). GL with this one, hope your insurance takes care of you...

Nope, no one knew about the kill switches, not even my dad. Nobody drives my car, just me. I also think that even if it was towed, the alarm should've gone off. I don't know. This sucks tho, second car that gets stolen. Civics, man..............

this just goes to show... that ... no matter what you do... if they want it... they will take it

and like i said before... in another thread.... the keys are in it.. and there is a TON of traffic that goes past my house... i live at the bottom of a hill where the high school is... the kids walk through my front yard daily... and yet my car is still here...

there have been times it has sat in the front of the house with the keys in it... for days... my wifes van... out there now with the keys in it.

for some reason... we think nothing will ever happen to us... because.. frankly.... nothing has happened yet.

but im sure the day it does... ill be just as upset as the rest of the victims are.

if one of you f**kers steals my s**t... you will die though.. becasue there is noone in this house no matter who it is... can not hear my car when it starts.. the rumble is unmistakable

and the only way to move it is to start it... and why wouldnt you....if the keys are in it

I'm pretty sure they knew at what time I usually get home(wich is at 2am), at what time someone leaves the house in the morning. This was no amature job, the f**kers did their homework first.

They could've easily towed it if it were in a driveway, its sucks man that's one thing that thiefs can get away with, I find it hard to believe it was ridden since it has kill switches unless maybe they saw you reaching for the kill switches?

I called a few towing places near my house and nothing. Also, when I did the report with the cop. I guess they also check with impound just in case they took it. But no luck.
Went to TJ, Mexico and did the report there as well just in case.
