There are no public parking lots. They are either private or municipal property. In the case of a mall or strip mall, it is private property. The owners of the property can press charges against you for even being there, if your parked and watching, or being a retard.

shoot its only snowed where i live twice since i got my drivers licence so ive gone out powersliding my car. and i was doin it cause it was just something fun to do and somethin to kill time. I did it in my works parking lot right after i got out of work. i remember doing a 180 and remember my manager yelling when i got out "you better not hit my car!" he drove a mazda 3 speed. Cops around charlotte dont really care about activity in parking lots. they just care about speeding, racing, etc on the roads.

its called HAVING FUN. instead of drinking or smoking weed or some stupid s**t like that i go and work on my car or have fun driving my car. so how the hell am i a goddam idiot for driving my car through a parking lot when it snowed at around 11 or 12 at night? makes no sense to me. I can guarantee you I know the boundaries of my car just fine, and how to handle my car better than you; yet I've never resorted to this bullshit excuse.

im not gonna disagree with you there. You can have plenty of fun just drivin around. Here in NC it snow like once a year and thats if your lucky. I just wanted to see what it was like sliding my car and it turned out being fun. It was a parkinglot with barely any light poles or medians so it wasnt dangerous at all. and i know that my car is slow as balls and the only reason i got exhaust on mine is cause i got rid of the rusty dual exhaust the previous owner put on. Im not trying to keep this flaming yall started going on and on but when you barely get snow (like me) its fun to go out and be a little crazy.
