Building my y8

Ok, so im wanting to build and boost my y8. ive got people telling me that single cam turbo sint the way to go. and VTEC motors arent the way to go. so am i just knid of SOL on the build. Since ive hondas. and theres been plenty none have ever had a d series. now i got my ek which is my personal favorite and i want to do a nasty d turbo. the thing is i dont even kno where to begin. or if its even a good idea to do y8 turbo build. So i would appreciate some guidance.

keep your HP goal realistic, and go with a pre-fabbed kit that you know will fit w/o any issues..

^^^ Go-Autoworks.com has great kits for single slammers... just need injectors and chipped ecu and your set.. (clutch upgrade would be recommended)

Haha I should have them race our turbo z6 wagon

anyway, there is alot that you can do with your single cam and turbo is a great way to go. If there is anything that I can help you with let me know.I would be happy to help.:thumbs up
Like others have said do some research, figure out your goals and go from there.

Edit: do i see a race between Bisimoto and Autoworks shop cars? that would a youtube instant winner!

If your looking for crazy power B series turbo is the way to go. But if your just looking for some fun play around power. A Turbo D is fun as hell, you can get in the 250 hp range easy and safely with a properly built, boosted, and tuned D. And D is way cheaper.

if your question about a d series motor cant be answered by the guys at bisimoto or james at speedfactory....then you dont need to know the answer :lol:

LOL, I'm down, let's make it happen. Heck, call Speedfactory and Humble too. Make it happen in 2010!

I'd absolutely love to race, meet these people. Pick their brain, it would be a cool event.
