94 EG Build

What's up guys,

So I started with a 95 EX, years later went to a 94 LS, and recently sold the Teg for another EG. I bought the car from my boy who ran off the road and hit a stump, was intimidated by the damage and sold me the car for $500, he wanted rid of it in a bad way so I grabbed it up.

Pics were taken about a week ago, since then I got a new hood, bumper, black housing headlights w/ amber corners and jdm fogs, also f1 fenders that I got from my boy cheap, and a core support. I wasn't sure how they would look but I was pleasantly suprised. Also have Mugen steering wheel/hub and jdm short shift that will be going in when I get the car back, pretty excited.

My dad's boy has a garage that is doing the work with the core and fender line up, then the rest will be pieced on by Tuesday. So I'll post pics with new parts then. I plan to keep this thread going with my build, so subscribe!
Enjoy.

thanks guys, I'm not quite sure where I stand with the fenders... I'll determine that after I hit them with some black and clear (rattle can to seal for winter), should be fine since it won't be exposed to the shitty PA roads during winter. She's coming along, a nut and bolt at a time.

Update: my girl got me headlight bulbs and bulbs for my city lights. short shift and wheel/hub going in this week I believe.:word:

Not bad man, don't listen to people giving you s**t about the fenders if you like them that's all that matters I have two friends with them and some cars pull them off.

well to my dismay, I got in the car last week before all of this damn white that's dropping on us And I pulled the dash out to unplug srs system, I didn't realize that before that I left a light or something on inside and drained my battery, after I put the dash back together I checked the hazard and s**t to make sure they were good and got this ANNOYING ass buzz from the relay for the blinkers, so I left the car as is and a day later it had over a foot of snow on it... Pissssssssssssed, can't get in or out so my interior is in pieces and I'm waiting to wrench, I have cabin fever like a mfer and can't touch my ride.

Dear Winter,
f**k you.

Sincerely,
Mike

UPDATES:

Started the metal fab on the stock fenders today, layed thin layer of bondo on the bad area... priming and paint tonight/tomorrow will have pics of test fit and results.

Will straighten out the battery issue and the hazard switch situation.
Getto ass sub install, removing old wires and doing it right.
Painting small odds and ends from the bay!

When this snow finally decides to disappear I'm putting in the short shift, putting the wheel on and putting the interior back together. Also have replacement moonroof glass that needs to go in. Painting the front clip rattle style until my uncle get's his booth finished, installing the fogs/city lights, paint vc and degrease bay, and boost!

I got the battery/hazard/electrical issue straightened out. Turns out was the battery terminal was too small for the wire so I grabbed out one of the metal caps to enlarge the diameter of it. The loose connection was putting a low drain on the electrical system due to the bad ground I'm guessing. I lucked out.
