They are discontinued from Honda. A going rate for a mint one would be from the $200-$300 range.

Thanks Sk8 , i had one on my car i took it off when i was checking my trunk for leeks , i was curious if it was a genuine Honda lip ( which it is ) , i come to find out that it has different colors of paint on it , it started off as the metalic forest green i dont know the exact name of it then it was the milano red then it ended up on my Si in EBP , its in really good condition but i want to strip all the paint of off it and have it resprayed with just one color as the EBP on it is starting to peel off along with the Milano Red due to a really shitty paint job , lets say i was to strip it completly to the plastic , what would be the best way as i dont want to use sand paper to put scratches in it ??? is it ABS Plastic ??? would the citrus strippers work or would the plastic get damaged ??? i know i know i already herd from everyone "why would you want to take all of the paint off if you have a good base on it" im really anal about this stuff and i want to start from scratch meaning bare plastic , will a good paint shop scuff up the plastic to promote paint bonding anyways ??? thanks for any info and if you want to flame please save it i already know and heard it all :P

I think if you sand properly, you don't have to worry about scratches.

I used this

on my sideskirts after I had painted them, crashed and they got scratched, so I had to strip them cause like you (OP) I didnt wanna paint over. After strippin I followed the proper steps to paint it again. It's about $5-$7 walmart/homedepot/ace hardware

I just use sandpaper to strip paint for my projects. Maybe ill try some paint stripper next time.

Stripper works, sanding also works. It'd be really hard to damage your lip by sanding unless you really don't know what you're doing.

I'd recommend stripping first (make sure that it's a stripper that doesn't harm plastic) and then sanding it to get off the remaining paint (if any) and to rough it up for adhesion.
