thanks man, yeah im not into that different color headlight stuff, i just want some nice bright puppies sitting up there.
Either of them are an excellent choice for bulbs. You'll be pleased. Though it might be worth mentioning you could need to adjust your headlights if they do not seem to brighten up the road much. You probably won't/don't have to. But some people do it.

He has a 97 which has a different front end.

Unfortunately for you OP, it's either eBay or genuine OEM which run like $300+.
'96-'98 fog lights have two styles (round and square) and each comes in two colors (clear and yellow).

The JDM ones cost $300+. USDM (clear round) ones are much, much cheaper and you might even be able to get them still from Honda.
op buy the jdmpassword foggies with yellow lights looks good on any civics lol
PW:JDM sells DEPO lights, which are known to have issues for the '96-'98 style ones. The '99-'00 ones don't have nearly the same number of issues. Ground problems and leaks seem to be big issues.

I've had DEPO, Esuse and OEM and the DEPO stand out as total garbage. Esuse are similar to OEM but can be hard to find. OEM are just plain worth it.
and its stupid. who wants blue light really. gimme nice ol 5-6k....
I want blue headlight bulbs. I also have what are basically stained glass shells around my headlight bulbs. But this is because my car doesn't drive out in the country or anywhere where it needs a lot of extra light output. The fogs take care of anything I need anyway. For the rare times I drive at night my headlights have more to do with letting other people see me than with me being able to see the road.

I have clear OEM JDM square fog lights with yellow bulbs.

Just a quick pic. The colors are actually much richer in person.

Edit: And a pic from this past summer.
