yeah I planed on ls vtecing it but didn't know which block to use, the b20 does look really good, but where is a good place to find one for a good price? whats with the dart b20? that thing is EXPENSIVE!!!!!
its only like 500 bucks more then sleeving a honda block yourself, and the best thing about dart is how they specialize in straight bores, and they use a closed deck design, all the cylinders are the same thickness all they way around, so as things heat up, everything will expand at the same rate. and thats a big plus for ring seal, anyone who builds serious race engine will tell you ring seal is everything when it comes to making power. also the main webbings in the block are alot sturdier, and a sturdier block will support the crank under high stress, in a regular honda block under high stress the block flexes and its the crank that keeps everything together, so the dart block is just a better built block in every aspect except for upper cylinder cooling, and thats because a stock b18 has a open deck, and also the dart can take about 50 psi of boost, and they also have a tall deck version you can buy so you can stuff longer rods in. so if you look at it that way, the dart b20 is one hell of a deal
