I used my soldering gun to melt off those clips. Then I soldered a lil hole on top of it so I could put a screw in.good job. i just did same thing with velvet though...what did you use on the rear to seal the panels back on..?
I used a hot glue gun...
I used some Adhesive Spray http://www.ellsworth.com/imagelibrary/jpegs/100/LargePics/90_SPRY.jpgvery good work man what did you use to hold the fabric to panel though? should of did a right up homie but all in all smash up job!!!!!!
Don't get the screws too long, it'll pierce the door panels. 10 x 1/2 are good. I also used washers. If you could get the ones with a wide head, that should be cheaper then buying washers.Gotcha. I see now...Looks great.....! I will try to find a few screws to throw into mine. Hopefully the glue wont heat up & melt here in the hot summer's we get in F.L...Plus i have full black leather interior...Ughhhhhh....
Yeah I did mine in the Velvet as well. I like the feeling as do my girl..lol.
did mine a couple weeks ago with velvet..
