yes you can make 300whp on a stock motor....but...haha ive loved the 2000 si since my brother had one like 5 years ago. and here is proof you can get 315whp at 9psi stock internals on page 10-11. http://www.full-race.com/articles/bushing_turbo_selector.pdf
i missed that part....but for them to FR to attempt to make 300 they threw in the studs cause they knew there would be headlift^ the kid just said stock internals...head studs aren't considered internals plus whoever took the head off was smart enough to know that the head bolts are torque to yield and need to be replaced after they have been taken out
How much boost is daily boost?? With that said, I woudn't be too concerned with a set PSI number in your head. Do a little more research. Is the Full-Race kit the only kit that i capable of making 300whp at a low boost setting...no. That's actually not that difficult to do. There's also more to it than just sticking the kit on the car. You won't install a kit w/ a 9psi spring and just roll off 315whp.im 16 and i got a 2000 civic si. i want to boost it and get about 300whp on daily boost. The only kit i could find that makes that power is the full-race one?
Why not wait till you get older and more experienced? I'm not saying that your a bad driver, but your 16 and pretty new to driving. Do you really think giving a 16 year old a 300hp Si is a good idea? Your gonna do dumb s**t with your friends screwing around (don't say that your won't and your repsonsible blah blah blah, your gonna. Just add the opposite sex to the equation and your already doing something stupid). Thats alot of car for a young driver IMO. Be glad that you got an Si in the first place, and think about what your gonna do. Oh and I'm 18, so I've been in your position not too long ago.
