So what was your question? You're asking if full-race makes good kits? Yes. Could you find/piece together a cheaper and a better one? Yes. My suggestions is just piece together a kit you want, it will run you a lot cheaper, a lot of parts you can get used, such as intercooler piping, manifold and the downpipe. Search the classfiends forums and please do some research before you go ahead and boost. Most turbo kits are not exactly complete kits as they say. Some don't come with injectors, oil lines, engine managment systems.
Here's a good Turbo guide to read before you boost. Knowledge is power!

haha ive loved the 2000 si since my brother had one like 5 years ago. and here is proof you can get 315whp at 9psi stock internals on page 10-11. http://www.full-race.com/articles/bushing_turbo_selector.pdf
yes you can make 300whp on a stock motor....but...

1. its not going to last long at all
2. it wasnt really stock because it had headstuds
3. there are nicer/better priced turbo 'kits' out there than the ones by full-race

^ the kid just said stock internals...head studs aren't considered internals plus whoever took the head off was smart enough to know that the head bolts are torque to yield and need to be replaced after they have been taken out

Why not wait till you get older and more experienced? I'm not saying that your a bad driver, but your 16 and pretty new to driving. Do you really think giving a 16 year old a 300hp Si is a good idea? Your gonna do dumb s**t with your friends screwing around (don't say that your won't and your repsonsible blah blah blah, your gonna. Just add the opposite sex to the equation and your already doing something stupid). Thats alot of car for a young driver IMO. Be glad that you got an Si in the first place, and think about what your gonna do. Oh and I'm 18, so I've been in your position not too long ago.

i missed that part....but for them to FR to attempt to make 300 they threw in the studs cause they knew there would be headlift

How much boost is daily boost?? With that said, I woudn't be too concerned with a set PSI number in your head. Do a little more research. Is the Full-Race kit the only kit that i capable of making 300whp at a low boost setting...no. That's actually not that difficult to do. There's also more to it than just sticking the kit on the car. You won't install a kit w/ a 9psi spring and just roll off 315whp.

lol The 16 year old noob owned someone.

300whp can be done but theres less room for error. I would shoot for 250whp. This is a safer and more realistic goal for a daily driven teenager car.

You seem to be doing your research so I would suggest piecing a kit together to save some money. If you want it really badly pick up the go autoworks kit.

im assuming ur talking about me?

thee is no way in hell he is going to not blow up his car at 16 years old with a turbo and if he does get 300whp, which he prolly wont with that kit even the engine wont last long..

You said 9psi wont make 300. I thought it was funny that the 16 year old kid proved you wrong.

As for his car, why wont he make that power with the kit? Do you see something wrong with it? As long as the tune is on point and he should be aright. If he makes 300 @ 9psi, that doesn't mean he always has to stay @ 9 psi. Once he makes 300whp its a 300 hp car. He doesnt have to run 300 daily. He can drop it down to 6-7 and if he wants to race or w.e just raise it back up.

Either way if he is making 300 hp, his engine is not going to last long, id say mid 200s and a tune are far more reasonable.
