Just curious is all, is this member:
fully unselfish in his/her ways that they only give and never ask?

Maybe this member is more intelligent than the rest of us and never has anything to ask only answers?

Or does this member non-social, and comes to CC for one sole purpose other than creating topics meant for discussion, humor, to share interests or to share something to the rest of us?

not to be a d**k.. but if you mean RonJ then i would say this is going to be honestly pretty close to the answer... that guy is extremely legitimate.. and helps left and right.. he is also a solid upfront moderator..

There's nothing wrong with someone giving to the site, all the time. It would be annoying if it was the other way around. You all know you get sick of seeing the "what kind of intake should I get" threads or the "what wheels" thread....I dude that contributes like that should be looked up to.

^^ Petey I never said there was anything wrong w/it at all, this wasn't to be negative, I just haven't come across that in any other forum.

actually, I don't think I'm not that strict at all. I let ALOT of s**t slide.





it's just the f**kers that think they are more OG than everyone else and don't think they should follow the same rules all the other members do. those members have problems with me becase I am unbiased imo and will treat them like everyone else.

I was hoping that Civic experts here might be able to provide me with some helpful advice. I have a 1997 Civic DX with ~100k miles. When traveling at freeway speeds (65-75 mph), I recently noticed that the steering wheel shakes or vibrates. This is not associated with braking or with any recent incident with a large pothole. Also, replacing the two front tires with new ones and balancing all four wheels has not solved the problem. I also tested whether the tie rods might be loose but they were not. Last year, I replaced both front drive axles. Based on this information, someone at O'Reilly speculated that my problem might be due to loose motor mounts or a bad front wheel bearing. However, my front wheels don't show any obvious play and seem to turn freely.

Does anyone have a helpful suggestion?

For more than a year now, pieces of old disintegrating foam insulation sporadically blow out of the vents of my '97 Civic when I am running the A/C (possibly also the heater but I don't remember). Have others experienced a similar problem? If so, where is the insulation coming from and do I need to worry about it? Would it be straightforward to install new foam insulation in the system?
