i love diesel trucks. but where im from we use them. we pull hopper wagons that weigh 25k and used to pull them with a 86 ford. it had the balls to pull them but had no speed. my old boss's 7.3L chipped powerstroke can get up and go.

I love these people, had a guy a few weeks ago claim that his boosted Talon, on which the motor had pretty much blown up, raised the head off the block, and was leaking most of the compression, could take my EM1. Stock Chevy 7.3 Duramax diesels run high 15s low 16s and with just a chip run high 14s. Same territory as your Civic.

A guy is complaining because he couldn't run faster than a 15.2 on a modded chip with over 200 pounds of tools and other equipment in the truck.

Let me remind you these are 6,000+ pound trucks.

what year are the 7.3 Duramax. i wasnt aware that duramax made a 7.3. 7.3's where fords powerstroke from the mid 90's up to 02. the duramax's where always in the 6's.
