You definitely ran the light. When you were at the white line it had already been red for .2 seconds which means yellow was before that. It also had "Keep Clear" painted on the road. You are definitely in the wrong. Take your punishment, pay the find and move on.

I'm getting sick of people wanting to fight everything. No one wants to take their punishment for doing something against the law. Take your punishment, learn from it and move on. If you do it again you have no one to blame but yourself. That picture shows evidence that he ran the light even though he had plenty of time to stop (He was doing 18MPH for f**ks sake.) he ran it, knew he was running it, and then complains when he gets a ticket for it. The courts need to stop taking peoples whining and complaining because they broke the law, they should be more strict about it and if you fight it when you know you broke the law, guess what? Your fines just went up.

I'm not looking out for your concern, I'm more concern about my money being wasted at the courts with people like you wanting to fight everything. If you don't work and have no money maybe you should be watching your P's and Qs and not breaking laws.

well perhaps next time you wont run the light then... if i knew there was a camera there... and the light was yellow... im stopping. i dont care. im not gonna try and gun it through a yellow light.


from what i see in the pics... there was a traffic situation after the light. so even if you were in the middle of the intersection when it turned red... you still wouldnt be out of the intersection by the time other traffic came.

look at the pickup truck... at 0.2... he is in the intersection... at 2.4 seconds later... he is still there and bareley moved from where he started out...

at 35mph... which is what the speed limit was... if he was at speed... in 2.4 seconds he would clear the intersection just fine. the mini... im saying had someone in front of them that is out of view... and you probably werent paying attention... because at 0.2 sec... the mini was there.. and 2.4 seconds... barely past where it started.

from my point of view... and based on what i see... you hurried up and jumped into the intersection because you thought you could just get away with it if you were at the back of the line... but evidence shows you were behind the line before the light changed.. and after... you were passed the line... you ran it.

laws in some states are... if there is impeding traffic in an intersection where there is a light... and it is barely moving... you should wait at the line until you see an opening. not for you to run across and ad to the line and cause further backup.


in my personal life... when i am waiting at a light... and traffic is crossing but stopped in front of me... and the light changes.... i get on the door of the impeding car and lay on the horn. there is no call for blocking an intersection. if you did this infront of a police station... you are sure to get a ticket.

i rather get an intersection block ticket than gunning a red light ticket. and of course i would have made the light if the car in front of me didnt stop for no reason and i realized quicker that i was in an intersection at a red light. i assumed wrong and i will suffer the consequences. but i think i still got a good reason to obtain a plea bargain

lol this thread has me so lost, i looked at the pics and it looks like you just ran a red lights, suck it up, pay the ticket, and stop crying, i got a speeding ticket christmas day, dont see me making a thread over it, i payed it and moved on with my life

the only helpful advice i can give here is.... show up to court.. and plead your case...


doing nothing but crying about it will get you nowhere... we are not lawyers we cant tell you if the judge will see it differently.

you just need to show up.. and see what happens.

yea well i got till march 4th. im was just wondering what other options or advices are out there so i dont regret my choices.

lol im not cryig about it. im not expecting to get out of it 100% free..i know im going to suffer some consequences. i just wanted to discuss this since no one in my family has experiences this.
