isnt the transmission in the rear of those cars? so is the clutch back there too? if so what was smoking

the rear diff is in the rear. The trans mounts to the motor, which is under the front hood.

the rear diff is in the rear. The trans mounts to the motor, which is under the front hood.
Actually the trans is mounted on the rear of the car. Theres a torque tube that runs from the rear of the motor to the rear of the car where it meets the trans.

I own a vette and I still thought this was hillarious! My friend did this in his 05 GTO first time he went down the track! Thought he was spining his tires but he was really riding his clutch! HAHA

how could you not know though..? usually when you do burnout you feel the car move around a little bit and try to go forward :roll: do you think stupidity is covered under warranty?

i had no idea either, i know some exotics do that for better weight distribution, props to Chevy I guess lol
