CTR or Mugen?

hey guys...im fairly new to CC but a long time honda tuner...im about to get a lip for my civic but i cant decide wether to get the Type R or Mugen...im 50/50 on both. They both look good IMO but i need help deciding!!! Please Help...pics would also help if you have them on your ride.Thank You.

depends on what you want. if you are going for the genuine oem look, then do the ctr lip:

if you want more of the aftermarket custom look go with the mugen lip:

it all depends. i have the ctr look on my coupe because i am trying to replicate the ctr on a coupe.
i would go mugen. everyone has the ctr lip.


oh yeah, where you talking about the lips?.... im still tired. its early for me. lol

Both look good IMO. It just depends what looks good to you. I don't know the actual size of both but I prefer the mugen because it looks bigger and makes the front end look lower.

I'd go CTR for 96-98 or Mugen for 99-00

If you're going to get a replica, get the Mugen style one then. The 99-00 CTR knock-off looks bad. The ends flare way too much compared to OEM. It just looks so ugly IMO.

well seeing the fact that whoever posted a picture of the lips dont know wtf a mugen lip is and posted a spoon lip for the 96-98 it would probably help in your decision if you actually posted the right pic.

This doesn't seem off topic to me? Just wondering.

Personally I like mugen better because i feel it gives the front more definition.
Either way pictures afterward would be nice!

Spoon lip FTW. BUT of course that isnt your two options.

I say. if you have the 96-98 model. go with the CTR.
If you have the 99-00 model. Mugen.
