At the moment i have some money to spend on parts. Right now i'm looking into either some function and forms type 1 that some of the sponsors are selling here for a good price. However i can get some new kyb gr-2 and h&r sport spring and a new apexi ws2 muffler for around the same price, give and take. which options should i go with?

Silly question to ask because it all comes down to what you want. Do you coilovers for the adjustability? Or would you rather have shocks/springs and a new muffer?

i do want the adjustability but at the sane time i would love to have that muffler, but if i do that it's gonna throw off my budget a bit.

I don't see the point in the exhaust if you're still rocking a stock SOHC. And, when I mean stock, I mean no internal mods or boost. Basic bolt ons for a SOHC will be a waste of time.

They are "good" coilovers. They're not "great", or "awesome", or "amazing", or whichever adjective you choose to use to describe a better coilover.

So for those in the room asking themselves this... What would be a great, excellent, amazing set of coilovers??

How many of those people do anything but daily drive their cars with a drop? F&F's are made by the same Chinese company that makes all the other cheap coilovers out there, Bor Chuan.

Can get G/C sleeves and koni yellows for around the same price but they're infinitely better in every possible way.

^^ that's what i like to hear

GC+koni Yellows is the best non-full coilover option, and is better than many cheap chinese overs.
