HEY GUYS JUST WONDERING WHAT I WILL NEED WHILE DOING THIS SWAP.... I HAVE THEN ENGINE AN WIRE HARNESS FOR THE D16Z6 an was wondering what i could use off the d15b7 an what else ill need??

What are you putting it in?
into a 1993 civic lx (eg9)
vtec solenoid
The z6 already has a vtec solenoid and i didnt think the b7 had vtec? you can use the tranny but its prolly gonna have really long ass gears. You will need an ecu out of an ex (or the delsol with z6) for the vtec as well.
so all i need is a p28 ecu correct... the d16z6 will bolt up to my tranny from the d16b7, i have the wire harness for the d16z6 so i think im set once i get the ecu!!!

also can i use the dist. from the d15b7 an starter an alternator??
p28 is correct...As for the dizzy=No!!
alrigh so no dizzy, what about the start an alternator wil they bolt up??
d series alternator and starter will work!
awesome now 1 last thing will the header of the d15b7 go on the d16z6?

yes it will fit. all D series have same ports. so direct bolt on
Z6 head
vtec solenoid
oil pressure switch
y8 head gasket
z6 distributor
z6 spark plugs and wires
p28 ecu
timing belt for y8 I believe not sure gotta double check that
water pump

i have a complete d16z6 motor.... im not building a mini me??
but to make sure im right, all i need to buy is the ECU for the engine. Correct?
