I have a 96 civic coupe 1.6 single cam...recently everything on my car pulsates pretty much...the lights dim in and out really quickly and when it gets real bad the tachometer just goes crazy. I changed out the alternator, the alternator belt, and put in a brand new battery all at the same time...and i'm still having the problem. When i shut the car off..it won't start again...i have to jump it. The battery just won't stay charged...and it's not the alternator because i just put a new one with the belt. Any ideas? I'm stuckk ?

battery is prob messed up go get it cheked where u got it from if u got a warranty on it they should just give u a new one

I'm with RonJ on the fuse.
I would also check over your connections thoroughly. Make sure they are tight and not corroded, broken, cracked. This includes the battery terminals as well. A badly corroded terminal connection would throw off symptoms of what you are saying.

would this cause the voltage of the car to just shut off at times as well.

A bad connection? Most definitely. Think about it. As you drive the vibration causes the connection to touch and disconnect off and on. It would be a toss of a coin when the connection is good enough to work correctly.would this cause the voltage of the car to just shut off at times as well.
