ok new material is coming for my headliner, pillars ect...

my question is how EXACTLY is the headliner suppose to come out without breaking everything and how do you get those pillars off?

any diy of how this is done would be nice but i can't find any...

Pillars are normally a pain in the butt with all cars. I haven't messed with mine yet but I would say start at the top pulling see if it budges. Take out the clip ins. If you can budge the pillars enough you should be able to get it out.

In my 97, here's what I did:

-Remove everything on the headliner, light, grab handles, little headliner retainers, sun visors, etc.

-Pull the headliner out, you're just gonna have to work it out, I had to flex mine to get it out.

-Once it's out of the car, remove old headliner material and glue new one on.

-Reverse first three steps

thats what i was gonna try but you said just pull the headliner out??? there isn't anything around the sides that keep it up besides the dome light and visors? feels like there is something else there to catch it from falling down on me??? you sure?

Yes, it's also held by the pillers and plastic mouding (on my 97, your's is probably the same). Other than all the attached parts, that's all that holds it up there.

thank you genius for absolutely no help...
wow, attitude problem much?

its not rocket science man, take all the s**t off your headliner (dome lights, sun visors, etc etc etc, take off the plastic pillars, take off the seat belt bolt from the middle pillar, then pull the headliner down and out,
if you would lose the attitude, more people would help you. just for future reference for you;)
