never thought of putting my HID ballasts there... seems like they'd bounce around like that.

As you can see in the pics, the ballasts came with a bracket and I just used the holes for the cruise control on the left side and the oem intake holes for the right side to screw the brackets in so there's no bouncing around. They do look like their just floating huh
