here's what mine's looking like now... the second virtual screen says "dexpot two" on the wallpaper.

i just got done moving all data off the system drive and onto the two data drives. my 5 year old 60gb IDE clunker (system drive) is on its way out... installers for all my apps are on the backup drive. now i just need to pick up a nice quick little sata2 (3gb/s) drive. it's not easy finding small drives (under 100gb) for cheap.

should be getting windows 7 some time next week hopefully. then maybe i can learn how to use ps and find a good place to take pics for a photoshoot.

Just reinstalled a full copy of Windows 7.

simple. Old School XP. Only changes is that I changed my start button to say XpL0d3r rather than START, and when you roll mouse over, instead of saying "click here to begin", it says "... is awesome" Simple changes in registry. Other than that, the main icons on my desktop don't have names (ALT+0160 code), and there's a completely hidden folder on my desktop... no icon, no words. Just gotta know where to click ;-)

switched to windows 7. but need a new graphics driver because hp doesnt support my laptop w/ windows 7. some stuff worked but the graphics drivers dont.
