Gauge cluster and climate control lights

So some of my gauge cluster lights and climate control lights went out and I want to replace them with LED ones while I have to do it anyways.

Without having to take it all out to look while I wait for them to ship, does anyone know off the top of their head how many and what size lights are in both climate control and gauge cluster?

How many lights light up the gas, speedomoter, and temperature gauges only?

I did mine, its fairly simple & over time you will be able to remove cluster & whole dash within 5/10min.

The cluster takes five #24’s and one #74, and the climate control takes two #74’s.
I also put L.E.Ds for my dome light, Interior & Trunk [#3157?] ;; & That slide out storage area next to Cigerette Lighter [#24]

Do you have the same gauge cluster? like exactly the same? Because I dont have a tachometer in my cluster.
Pretty sure i dont have a dome light in my trunk either. and last time I took out my cluster i swear there was more lights than that.

U have 7 of them they are #74 LEDs so buy 7 for your cluster 1 for you ashtray 2 for your climate control
so 10 of them.
They will all fit into the brown wedges on your cluster. A little force may be needed then if they don't happen to go back in the hole take a razor and cut the hole a little bigger just don't cut the circuit board
they are reverse polarized or someshit so if they don't light up pull the bulb out and flip it around and test again
do not put cluster back into dash without making sure they all work.
And since u don't have a tach I'm assuming you have an automatic so get another bulb for your prndl light so you will need 11 lights in total they're all same size so yeah good luck if u need anymore help lmk

I have a 5 speed bro. Not automatic. But okay sweet thanks. Im not really gonna worry about the ashtray ones but oh well.

I will post pics of it when its done. Im going all Blue leds since all my interior/motor is blue/black combo.

Well ya blue looks real nice thts what I did. For the climate control u gotta take out your radio and take out the three screws holding the climate in
then there's a black wire u gotta disconnect from the car it's located beneath glove box on the left. After that disassemble entire climate control to get to the lights. I'll post pics of mine later.

Nah it was stock like that. its a 93 dx, and it also only had one mirror. Seriously i looked it up and it said those models were not made with 2 side mirrors lol. How weird is that.

Lights should get here tomorrow says the tracking info. So it should be done tomorrow or thursday since i work tuesday and wednesday. Hopefully tomorrow.

Im sure its the same layout with just a few different things. but only 6 lights actually light up the gauges you see. its different in an automatic because it has the (P N R D 2 1) s**t but thats lit up individually like the SRS light.

Should be the same if i'm not wrong.

be the same by like I always say buy extra lights just inase. Just pull out your cluster an it's all the brown twist offa that light up the gauge that's usually it. I got all of my LEDs from superbrightleds.com so ya prices are fair. But I believe automatic clusters have more LEDs I've worked with both so I believe so just pull it out and count to be sure. Te climate does only take 2 though. So yeah I'll take a pic of my cluster right now.

see the opened holes in the back of the cluster? those r for the leds you want to put in
theyre open cause its an extra cluster i have
these r also pics of my friends civic i ordered lights for him and installed them for him. hes happy as hell
turned out very well
total installation time is about 15 minutes

There's really nothing to screw up. Unscrew 3 screws pop out the plastic piece from your dash, slowly pull out your cluster so you dont rip wires (pull top out before bottom) and unplug all the wires before you finally take it out. From there it's pretty obvious where to unscrew the other screws and where to replace the lights.

guy's there's about 900,000 threads about this & not to mention it's in the how-to section, maybe not the LED (not so sure) but the # of bulbs etc is somewhere. try making an effort to search i know it's not that deep in the site.

Ya it's fairly easy nothing to really mess up unless u start forcing things Just don get cheap an buy eBay LEDs they'll burn out within a month

Yeah, just depends on the model. 92-95 gauge clusters are different. Hatchback CXs and DXs have speedo but no tach. (some do have a tach) The Special Editions in Canada at least have both a tach on the CX and DX models. The Si hatch obviously has the tach. The coupes are a different story, the EX and SE both have tachs (manual and auto) and the Si obviously has a tach. (both for manual and auto)

Holy s**t!! Good job on the led's I never seen that before. Most people here are to lazy for that. That makes me want to do that cause my stock bulbs barely produce any light. I think id do it red. You think that would look good??
