Olympic Hockey!

dont know how much of you have followed mens hockey this olympics... but... currently USA is undefeated!

right now they are playing Switzerland on NBC.

tonight... its canada vs russia.

as some may know... usa beat canada on sunday...

if both usa and canada win thier games... there is a chance they both could make it to the gold medal round on sunday... and this will be an EPIC game.

commentators were saying ticket prices for that game are in the 700s

on the otherside... the womens hockey teams are doing quite well too... the gold medal final is tommorow with usa vs canada.

im all for the usa mens to win gold but i think canada wont let them win again. i think all playoff games in every sport should be a best of 7 like the nba. anybody can pull off an underdog upset/ the best team usuallly wins in a best of 7

yea but... there has been 3 games a day on the ice at hockey place. that ice is wore out... and not to mention the players... you try to fit a best of 7 in the time frame of the olympics... it will make it teams playing 3 games a day and one game after another all day long... 10 games a day on the ice... the ice will have holes in it by the end of the tournament and the players being downright exhausted... and not playing thier best...

Tonight is the womens gold medal game. Should be a good game. Tomorrow is Canada and Slovakia mens. It should be Canada and USA in the gold cup game on sunday in mens.
