The tubes have modules that are sound activate. Same thing as those discs that were popular back in the 80's that people had in their room that had lightning and flashes to sound.

I am with above in opinion though. Would be annoying. Plus that set up looks terrible. Wires everywhere and I have NEVER been a fan of mounting amps to sub boxes if you are going to show off the system. Looks tacky.

yah it makes sense , but thats so played out, and ghey, man that was cool when i was in highschool in 1999, dont do it man, it looks dumb, and draws more attention to the car for it to get stolen, or pulled over

imo, it would look better if you put the lights behind the sub box if anything... hide wires... and the light wont be right in ur face.... that guy was a douchebag for just puttin em on the top

i say you do it but make sure your lights are in the back window and are blue and red

There is an instructable to make your own blinking led's http://www.instructables.com/id/Music-LED-Light-Box/ you just have to get the signal from your sub

If you don't want to make the led lights you can connect any lamp with the tip31

ac vents and under dash like mine? if you put them in your trunk, attatch the power wires to the courtesy light in the trunk. and hide them about where that light is, so the neon/ leds arent visible, only the glow.

Take the positive and negative wires from your lights and hook them up respectively to the ports for the subs.


They get power when the subs hit, and you now have your flashing lights

i dont mind where you put yours, under the dash is more convenient for foot light then drilling into the center console.

@Aaron. That is just calling for a ticket.
@civicSIcoupe The interior of my car is dark as hell at night. I can't see anything, like my lighter or bowl. The dash console(AC, heat, fan) has no lights that determine what is what.
