2000 civic ecu ?

I have a 2000 honda civic with a lx block and a dx 99 head. i need a p28 ecu and need to know if it has to be a 96 to 00 ecu or can it be older.thanks

The P28 ecu is off a 92-95 civic so you will need to convert to obd1. P28's did not come in 6th gen civics.

the correct ecu for a Y8 would be a P2P

You will need a conversion harness to do it too.
Check out rywire.com, I know he sells both ecu and
harness. They accept emails about questions of this nature.
