10w 10ohm resistors from radio shack would have been so much easier lol. all you would have had to do would be splice them into the yellow/black wire.
I know!! Now I got a whole f**ked up and cut harness!!! It has "custom" VTEC wires and all. Ive been meaning to search for a 99-00 EX harness but no luck. :( There was a clean '00 EX four door at the junk yard yesterday but some fagt chopped up the harness when they pulled the motor! :(

Oh and for the record, cut harness' are as gay as AIDS.

Forgot to raise up the resolution on my phone so here are some shitty pics.

I finally set the FMIC perpendicular to the ground and "mounted" it with some industrial spec wire haha. I still need to find a way to mount the damn thing. I also put in some new T clamps and a black mishimoto coupler.

Ill get better pictures later I promise!

Yeah if you have any questions let me know! I learned a lot by doing it myself, but it wasnt hard, just a lot of tightening and loosening haha.

I have a P28 with a T3/T4 base map but im going to get it tuned HOPEFULLY Saturday. I was supposed to take it tomorrow morning but the f**king shop is lagging it with my Blox exhaust flange. So ill get the exhaust slapped on tomorrow and to the tune it goes!!

Here are some final pictures of my f**kED UP car.

I need to:
-Weld on new radiator support
-Find a 99-00 hood since I bent mine
-Repaint complete car
-Fix lip or replace it

















And ill hopefully be slapping these on, on Saturday. Anyone have any reviews on em??

Also opinions, comments, and criticism on the install would be greatly appreciated. =)

let me tell you something...those look like the generic ebay turbo kit....i started with ebay..until s**t just started to fawk up on me. like the wastegate flange has an bigger open to it...the turbo doesnt give that good amount of power. i upgraded every dang thing except for the pipe.

I upgrade these:
Ebay manifold= Drag manifold
Ebay wastegate= Tial wastegate
Ebay turbo= Precision Turbo
Ebay BOV= Greddy RZ bov
ebay downpipe = JUNK

^ Bad lip and paint is good for a sleeper! Put on some steelies and you'll be rolling discreet.

Yeah I want to upgrade the manifoldfirst, then turbo, then wastegate. So far its holding up fine but I want a log manifold that puts the waste gate in the middle.

So far its holding up good, but I just got it tuned today so hopefully it holds up a little longer. I got the down pipe custom made so it should be alright.

I got my exhaust installed yesterday, it consists of
-2.25" piping
-RSX-S OE muffler
-2.25" Flex pipe
-2.25" flange
-OE resonator

I noticed a HUGE difference, but I was coming from an OE headerback exhaust haha.


I also got it tuned today! OMG the car idles like a wet dream and it revs up as if the motor was brand new no joke. I had no idea a tune could do this, its amazing a difference it could make. They did about 3 or 4 passes and HP kept going up (started at 145ish) but I really didnt wanna pass 160hp point because I still want it to be reliable. They said they could make it hit 175 if I wanted to, but that be pushing it. Ill be installing a new OE HG and ARP head bolts so hopefully I can push it to 170hp. :lol:

So the end numbers were 158Hp and 147lb of Tq. Not bad numbers for a bone stock motor!! haha.

My brother is still at the shop with his LS+T so ill see how his numbers end up.

i say get a name brand waste gate first of all... you dont want it sticking on you and blowing your motor.

also, bigger exhaust like a full 3" or even a 2.5" will help as well (BTW i want an RSX oem muffler!)

finally, decent numbers man! why didnt you pull to redline tho?

Its $240 for as long as it takes, no time limit. The guys there were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful as well. They answered any question I had in detail and then some. They tuned the P28 on Crome, so it came out alright. They couldnt do 2 step since my VSS isnt working. :(

Import Auto Pros for any of you guys in So Cal. :D

Even though I am not your biggest fan, I have been watching this and must say that you did a great job...congratulations on the install man...looks very good and glad everything came out good for you...hopefully it doesn't give any problems...a lot of the Protege guys seem to have problem after problem with turbos...our motors really just were not built for it...

I was sooo f**king scared when they were dynoing. Since it was indoors it gets soo loud and the floor would start vibrating when the engine hits 6000+ I was like "fuuuuu its gunna blow any second now", but I think it was more in my head.
They said the engine was in pretty decent condition for its age. I dunno why I didnt record, I was more worried of hearing that rod go through the block haah.

And what problems are you talking about in specific?? We all know boost and D series arent best friends haha.

Well, the FSDE motors are just not power monsters...most are lucky to get 200HP out of them with decent builds...even the stock Speed Protege motors blow all the time...the transmissions are constantly going out...the Proteges were just a start for the Speed3's and 6's which are much more capable of handling the boost...stock they only have 160HP to the crank and most dyno around 130WHP...pretty shitty for a turbo car IMO...
