I just bought this sedan this past weekend. I put down $2700 and I was wondering about some starting points on modding it.

Welcome to the site.. Looks pretty clean..It all depends on what direction you want to go, but you could always start with wheels and a drop....and lose that apple on the hood:roll:

shut up.

Op, buy some honda badges to put on your car. then work on a drop (dont go cheap). id say dont bother with rims and just paint your steelies (so loose the hubcaps). some amber corners would look good, same with fogs, but all the exterior is minor. once your satisfied with your cars appearance.. then start working on your engine.

Thanks guys, appreciate the suggestions.

The first thing I was thinking was getting rid of the apple, lol.

This is basically how I want it to look.

Maybe with this R34 kit also.

Don't get a body kit and big ugly wheels please. You got a nice deal on a civic with paint in pretty good condition, lets not rice it out. Get some coilovers and drop it a little bit.

Well, I really like Skylines, thats the only reason I wanted the body kit. I dont think 17" rims are all that big.

Boy, your awfully strict with other peoples cars that you'll most likely never see unless he puts up more pictures. Why cant the guy do what HE wants, to HIS car? If HE wants to put 17s on his Civic, whats it to you?

A "mistake of a lifetime" is in the eye of the beholder. Some people like big blingly rims, and bodykits. Some Civics can pull it of nicely. Others, not so much.

your point is?
my point is im agreeing with him.. theres no point in continuing an argument over peoples personal opinions. im just trying to say that while yes some can pull it off nicely, a lot tend to not. so when considering buying rims and their sizes (or any other part for that matter) just give yourself a couple days to think about it and find pics so you can really make sure its what you want. that way you avoid making a big mistake..
