subwoofer wiring

Hey everyone, I am in the process of installing subs. Looking for suggestions on getting the plastic panels up along the floor so I can run the wires under them from the front of the car into the trunk. And can anyone give me a relative location of the firewall. I appreciate it.

good spot behind the battery..

you want to keep the RCA and PWR cables as far away from each other as possible.

can you move this to the AUDIO section please before the mods do it for you.

just above the gas peddle there is room to drill a hole but you HAVE to make sure you zip tie it or something away from the peddles wouldn't want to get it caught in there. I did this and it worked great

Those panels just come out when you pull up on them.
When you put them back on just line up the clips and
push them back in. It's really easy. Good luck getting that
wire through the firewall. I had a fxxx of a time.

What Gage wire did you use? Use painters tape to hold it down while you install the plastic pieces. It's easy.

use a plastic putty knife, slide it under the panels and pop them up. you will have to remove your back seat to take the rear panels off. i think there are 2 screws in each front kick panel. look for a rubber boot in the fire wall where other wires come through, cut a piece of heavy wire (coat hanger) punch it through beside the other wires tape your power wire to it and pull it through. i did mine under the battery.

ps run the power down one side and the rca's down the other
