for you guys with tinted heads and tails.....

i recently tinted my tails and they look fine i think....they are just dark enough to be seen in the day and at night....even yesterday with the crappy WAY overcast weather....i want to tint the heads but i want to know that if i do should i swap in a halogen bulb to compensate?

I just did my tails and head lights. I went a little dark on the headlights so im goin to put a hid kit in it. My lights look blue from the inside of the car looking out.

I only tinted my tails, personally, I think tinting the headlights is stupid unless you smoke them.

No I used VHT Night Shade, that s**t works wonders.

Black housing clear housing headlights are WAY better than smoked/tinted headlights IMO

That looks terrible imo. Stock lights with amber corners, keep it clean.

yea i used the nightshade for my tails too it was simply marvelous....


well here is the other radical idea i had...take the assembly apart and sand it down and use that nightshade s**t on all the silver/chrome on the inside, around the bulb...then i thought that maybe that cant stand the heat of the bulb and i should use like that hi temp paint that u paint valve covers with...is that what u guys meant? cause i would do that as well and NOT get halos and keep it simple yet nice and different cause most people wouldnt do it.

Hid headlights in a non Hid ballast has horrible light output so I would throw that idea out. You might get hassled from the police for having it too dark. They do look really nice tinted. I wish I had a picture of my friends Civic we did.
