My project car, 1997 mitsubishi eclipse gs, isn't getting any spark or fuel on startup. I tested both and changed the spark plugs, still nothing. It cranks, but no start. Halp Pwease.

For a Civic lacking both spark and fuel, you would test for blown ECU fuses and for a bad ECU ground connection.

i drove one of these time bombs before... id say you better get it fixed and get rid of it ASAP .... i heard once one problem starts.... it becomes an expensive money pit to fix the rest of it

cant be any worse than a subaru though....

in the honda world... a 5 speed trans would cost you no more than a grand.... and thats for like a TypeR trans with LSD...

for a subaru... to get an STi 6 speed... no less than 3K and then its not even promised that its ok.

You know next time, you probably could have just pm'ed RonJ. Chances are he is going to see he has unread mail before he randomly sees an off topic thread. AND you will save yourself the embarrassment of asking tech questions about an eclipse on a civic forum.

yea but he may also receive help from someone else before RonJ could check his email. and its still a car forum and people can still point him in the right direction.
