Turbo Rotary Mazda Minitruck Build

ya i kinda figured i could get one made for $500-800, but i guess not... lol

i dont see how u would get bored of them, but maybe thats just me..

hondas get boring to me. u buy a part and put it on. with minitrucks its custom and takes time and thought and craftsmanship...

anyway, i called around to see how much a custom turbo mani would be to bring the turbo in front of the engine since i am pretty sure i am going to run into clearance issues with the frame rails and the turbo mani...

one shop quoted me $1500.... and everyone else says $75/hr plus materials and a tig welding charge...

soooo, ill prolly be building my own, so i guess thats another thing i will have to tackle. if anyone has any advice or knows any place that would fab one cheaper please lemme know!

Any car is just as boring... Hondas no different... They are just new to me!

The mini truck thing is getting played out to me... Ive seen more minis then I can count air ride / v8 swapped... Its cool! But boring... Im a static drop kinda guy! I loved the way my truck handled! But how many shaved / air or dropped minis have you seen!? A trillion! Just like how many hondas you see with a drop and a B series... Its all relavant! Just got played out too me... Thats all!

nice, i guess i can see what ur saying, but around here there are no minis hardly at all and that is what we do, we build minitrucks and hang out and cruise and go to shows...

its a lifestyle to me i guess...

and obviously i am still in love with hondas cuz i am still on this site everyday

just curious if your keepin bag over axle with 20's? i know it donest really matter bout lift but bags on bars rides so much better....

i plan on going with bags on bars or a rx7 irs to complete the theme, but i am more concerned with getting this damn rotary in and running right now, so the back half will remain with a bridge setup for now...

alright here it is...

RHD jdm s5 rx7 tII front clip...

pretty sure imma rebuild it cuz i have a feeling that has been railed the piss out of...

came with quite a few legit parts that make me think it was driven hard since it was obviously modified...

anywho, on to the pics..

hopefully the dash will fit in the truck. the measurements are pretty close, so im sure i can do a little fiberglass if need be to make it fit..
blitz BOV, cusco strut tower bar and other name brand goodies...

anybody need any 2nd gen rx7 parts?

now i just gotta get to cleaning and dismantle a half a car to get it out of my front driveway so my HOA doesnt get pissed lol..

enigne mounts are also enroute and will be here monday so hopefully i can get this down to a bare keg and see what fitment issues i am going to have.. i know i am going to have to relocate the turbo, and im hoping thats it until i can afford a FMIC.

also, new 2wd b series hood on its way also..

it was tempting, but all my neighbors are old rich people. u shoulda seen how many neighbors came out and were watching when a semi pulled up and half a car came out.

im trying to get it torn apart and parted out b4 my HOA sends me a fine..
