new to us crv

my gf just got a 97 crv. i wasnt able to go with her to pick it up and she called today to complain about problems she was having. i stopped at her work after i got out of mine and looked it over for her. most of the problems where amusing to me. only the drivers window worked: the child lock was on. it smelled: theres some s**t caked onto the engine. the rest was just operator error, or something shes just not used to yet. it has 104K on it. when i looked under the hood which i forgot to do when we test drove it, it has an AEM cai, and ngk plug wires. and except for a little paint fade on the top, its in excelent condition. will be posting some picks later.

and heres the pics. also found the oem 6 disc cd changer under the drivers seat. and she wants to repaint it to the oem green pearl color. she doesnt really like red and it is faded.

congrats on the new whip my fiancee has one too but with the leather seats it suck during summer cuz it will burn your skin if it is left outside lol

if i lower it it will be in a few more years. and probably about 2-3" in the front and at least a 1/2" taller in the rear. i like leather, even if it does get hot in the summer. hoping to cut back on that a bit with the tint, and remote start.

i will probably repaint the valve cover when i adjust the valves in the next couple of weeks. and clean the engine bay soon too.

A statement like this usually has to be seen. But, with no pictures of it, also since I don't feel like going on a search for a CRV, I'll pass.

ok. finally getting some work done to my car so i will be tinting the windows this week once my car is back together. then possibly a hood bra in a month or so, and remote start.

finaly got most of the windows tinted. had a stubborn screw so the back passenger door isnt done yet. and didnt have enough film or time to finish the hatch glass. on the to do list for next week.
