I think he'd be using them for fog lights.

Are you sure that they don't last as long? From what I've been hearing, those are pretty awesome to use in foglight applications, etc.

yeah i'm sure, been thought a lot of forums and talk to couple hid suppliers. iis great for fogs but i can't shell out 50bucks a year or less for another pair of bulbs. kinda like the piaa bulbs that are bright as hell but their life span is not great.

so what i did is by getting rid of the 55watt bulb and buy a pair of silverstart or something from autozone that is 100watt

100W lights just spread the light more, you actually lose a bit of brightness.


I helped my friend change his fog lights from 55 to 100w, and thats what happened.



Stick with 55w bulbs

are u sure because when i tested the 55watt it was crap.

That was what happened when I installed them on my friend's car and we tested them out
