well i havent posted in a while so here goes. to me it sounds as if you are new to forced induction. with that said, take some time and research " D-series turbo instal" or some thing similar". a turbo is not something you want to deal with if you are not prepared to spend your time and money in one place, your car. i say this out of experience. my first build was a nightmare. luckly i had some good friends and it was spring in north carolina(not to overly hot outside). long story short, do your homework, get to know your car, and above all becareful with what you buy. G.L. laters

dont use the eclispe turbo
why?

sounds to me like you have a lot of research ahead of you. but i can tell you right now if you are scrapped for cash then this is something that you should not get into

^^ :afrocorrect:

It takes a good amount of cash to get it done properly. If your not prepared to drop 1500-2000 into you project, than save up and research.. then research some more..

theres ALWAYS something to learn when it comes to boost... Im still learning new things

D15's are great for boost, you can get 15-20lbs easily. Just do your homework

thanks for the input an yes ive only done all motor cars in the past but i thought i would go for something different. its not that im straped for cash but i dont want to waste money in the wrong place. im not lookin to get to crazy for the mean time. i have heard from people in the past u can run bout 7 psi with stock motor an ecu. but im not sure if thats ok to do. i want to do something with the ecu but being in omaha i dont know who to trust doing work on my ecu any more input would be nice.

ok good, ur not new to engines then. well ur stock motor would hold 7-9 psi -IF- your tuner is good and your motor is in god shape. thats all that the turbo game comes down to. all it is is propper fuel amounts for the amount of air going in. with that said the supporting mods for a motor that was not originally boosted can add up quick or blow-up your motor. but guy if you have done NA motors then boosting a car should come fairly natural to you, common sense stuff ya know. you'll love it!:smokin:

on an fmu you want 12:1 because thats closest to stoich and your car is close to stock. i highly highly highly highly times infinity do not recommend using an FMU, your better off with a piggyback. your just asking for problems down the line with an FMU. do your car right the first time and you wont deal with hassles, headaches, and empty wallet syndrome

bigger injectors, fuel pump, an adjustable FPR, and a good tune. I would use a Tial wastegate for rock solid reliability
