I remember seeing a DIY called "the ultimate CTR mirrors install, the right way". I'm planning on doing a DIY including this write up as a reference. It had very good information, I planned on adding to it. It was previously in the electronics DIY section. I have successfully wired my power folding mirrors and would like to do a write up, but I don't want to do a write up if it will be getting deleted after a few months. Who decides on what gets erased or what stays? There are no DIYs for this topic, why would that thread get deleted? Thanks

I looked there, I will look again.

Doing a great write will take a lot of time and effort. I just don't want to wast my time. I spent so much time on the pf project and learned a lot in the process. I think doing a pf mirror write up has a lot of potential. If you look there are numerous threads on this topic. I have seen many with over 200 views but zero replies. Thanks

I just did a search of the entire forum for threads with the word "ultimate" and it is nowhere to be found.

This does not necessarily mean a moderator deleted it. We have no reason to just go around deleting random threads (especially DIYs.) As much as you may or may not want to blame it on moderators, some times threads just disappear. Can I personally guarantee that your thread will end up being on club civic, unaltered, for all of time? No. But I can tell you that there's no reason for us to mess with a DIY, and it'll probably be fine.

I remember now. When I was a mod I permanantely deleted it - the photos were gone and people were still replying so I said f**k it.

However, the thread stuck on honda-tech still so hopefully it's useful to you bro.
