The horn should work if you hook it up right, as for the SRS light you can take the light bulb out of the cluster if you think that it's going to bother you that much. I wouldn't get a no-name hub/quick release if I were you. If anything breaks you're pretty much f**ked

Srs is the airbag light.

Yes it will always be on. You are unplugging it from the system so the warning light is constantly on.

Horn can be adapted, but your amount of questions leads me to believe that you don't have much knowledge on mechanics and it is a daunting task.

That steering wheel will only have a horn if you figure out how to hook it up. It isn't magic.

The horn is generally wired through the same loom that the airbag is and you have to find a way to separate it. Then you are going to have to figure out how to make the wire work with a turning wheel. The hole for the horn is in the middle of the new wheel. The wires for your existing horn will be on the outside. You have to rig up something to work. Again leading to my above comment about mechanical knowledge.

That kit looks complete. Cheep and cheezy, but complete.

Posted before I got mine in.

I completely agree with the no name comment.

Spending $50 total on something as important as a steering wheel and it's mounting hub seems ridiculous to me.

My wheel was ~$300. My short hub was ~$100 and my quick release was ~$80.

I will never understand the reasoning behind going as cheap as you can with important parts. You get what you pay for and those are extremely cheap. My guess is that the materials and workmanship are cheap as well.

i know how to wire it up with the horn hook it up to the terminals on the back of the new horn ... but i dont get how a cheep price on this would be bad, i cant see it just breaking off as im driving, so i dont get the whole cheep part in this item

Wiring the horn doesn't work that way, you will find out soon enough.

If you can't see how a $50 complete set up is too cheap, you have problems coming very shortly. I could see spending $50 for the hub alone but for the wheel, hub, AND quick release that is just way to little.

The steering wheel is probably thin crap and WILL bend easily. The hub will probably give out and leave you with the wheel in your lap when you are driving. Not a good thing on either account.

Trust me. I have seen the cheap knock off steering wheels and hubs up close. I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole and they would definitely NEVER go in anything I drive. If you are thinking that I am the type to throw money around like it is no object, that would be wrong. I just don't cheap out and I save up when looking to purchase bigger ticket items.

Do it once and do it right. It will cost you less in the long run.
