sit way to high in car need help with seats

my car is lowered 2 inches and im 6'6 I need to figure out how some people have their seats sit way down so they are barely seeing over the steering wheel cause my head almost touches the roof. do i need new seats? or can I chop something on mine right now?

ok wookie. i'm not 100% on what you can do to your stock setup, but i know that you can buy an aluminum dirt seat on ebay and get a nice cover for it. if you mount the seat to the floor you can bet your bottom dollar that you'll have head room.
if it'its to low, use longer bolts, and pieces of steel pipe (bolt thru the pipe). but make sure the wall thickness of the pipe is at least 1/8 inch.

big sunroof...nah jk. i like harmons idea. some kind of race seat with a good solid bottom mounted directly to the floor. I had a tall basketball player buddy in high school that drove some sort of little geo. same issue. you wont have any sort of adjustment if someone else needs to drive your car but who cares.

Anyways.... Get a aftermarket racing seat. i have a sparco sprint 5 and it has lowered the seat a great amount. im only 5'7" and you can only really see parts of my shoulder and head from the outside of the car.
i can still see when i drive. but the seat is very small for someone like my size. i fit perfect into it. its really tight on the shoulder area.

Seriously, one of the best options for you is to buy an aftermarket seat. The key with them is that you need rails, and id say almost all of the aftermarket seat rails are way lower than stock seats.

I have read somewhere that maybe delsol ( i think ) seats are lower than stock civic seats.

If you want to go with a great quality aftermarket seat go with Recaro, sparco, memory fab, etc.

They will cost you though, a set of recaro's average go for around 1000+

i had a pair of sparco torino seats. they are probably pretty cheap now since its been a while ive seen em for sale on ebay not too long ago. i payed $300 per seat but got free harnesses with em so it wasnt too bad they drop you A LOT!! its nice they are comfy too! and look super sweet!!
