49,334.... what type of bike is it and what year? also try to find out if the bike has been drop bikes are different then cars once they been drop(crash) they lose balance the ride will never be the same, thats why when it comes to bikes i would recomend you to save up money and get a fresh bike

thats 49k not 4900 miles... they have the tenth on the trip guage not the reg odo

And to high mileage bikes it is very possible and not uncommon... hell we had a 87 bmw k100 with 124k on it.

i got an 86 yamaha virago in the backyard with 19K on it... and it hasnt moved in 3 years. hasnt been registered in 8 years. im slowly trying to get it back together... the guy who owns it... has a problem with putting gas in it... and letting it set for a year and not ride it... so... when you want to ride it... it has nasty ass varnish in it. this will be the third time ive cleaned the carbs on it... hopefully it will be the last.
