Intake/header/exhaust wont really make your car any faster, it will add like 10whp to the top end which is pretty much useless unless you're driving with the tach at 5000+ rpm all the time. Just get a k&n drop in filter and change all the fluids, plugs and wires and you will probably notice more difference in performance than you would from I/H/E. Have you considered lowering your car? It will make it a whole lot more fun to drive...

Oh and welcome to the forums!

Actually, it depends on its context. Honda as a family name or last name usually translates directly to main rice paddy or in English terms Main Rich Family or some crap like that. Honda as the Auto Manufacturer spells it like this "ホンダ" which translates to Root of Wing or Origin of Flight. You can take the hint from Honda first being a motorcycle manufacturer, not a car manufacturer. In fact, the very first car they developed was the Honda S360 in 1962, which is the very first predecessor to the Honda S2000 we now know and love. Honda Motor Co. has been around since 1948. The Honda Emblem on their motorcycles is a wing. Just a couple tid-bits that I know about Honda. Don't ask why.

Woah man, woah. Jk its always good to have random knowledge. Didnt the term ricer originate from japanese bikes making their way to the us before cars? and all the harley boys were jealous and whatnot.

dont heat and cut your springs, that is being cheap and being cheap is stupid.

You should buy either lowering springs with a nice shock, or a full coilover that could be more expensive..

look into tein suspension (springs)

Yeah, true. I can't stress how much suspension isn't just and asthetic or performance issue, but also a safety issue. Not to many people that lower their car know what camber, camber gain, toe, caster, instant center, roll center, roll axis, bump steer, jacking effect, anti-squat geometry, or even suspension geometry is and just lower it till it looks good. Most of the time, they just lower as far is it will go. If you don't properly set up your suspension, it makes your car a screaming metal death-trap.

Even for a cheap setup with just lowering springs and performance shocks you have to know what you are doing so you can match spring rate with shock rate. If the spring rate is too high in relation to the shock rate and weight of the vehicle, you end up with a ride that will hit a bump and bounce for the next two blocks.

Heating the springs strips the tempering away and you end up with weak springs that won't rebound as fast as you should. Cutting your springs will raise the spring rate, making your car bounce. You're also effectively turning a long travel spring into a short travel spring on shocks that are long travel, so you will have times that your spring will not be properly seated in its shock mounts.

Buy a proper full coilover system. If you're cheap, go with something like OmniPower Coilovers. They're well under $1,000. Just something that is a full setup, because it takes all the guess work out of the equation because the shocks and springs were made to work with each other.

Also, taking weight out of your car will make it a little faster, but will not make it more comfortable. Notice the ride quality difference between when you're by yourself and when you got like 4 fat chicks in your car. The less weight you have, the less resistance you have to make your car stay still when your suspension is soaking up a bump. If you're going to do something, do it first the right time. Good luck! :D
