00 si replica build Back from Paint :-)

Im sure you all saw my build thread if not look for it and you can see befor paint and what my baby has gone thru glad to say shes back and glossy and very nice although i changed my mind last minute about the color and went with 08 4 door si Tafeta White :-) im really pleased.


YES I KNOW MY FRONT BUMPERS MEST UP MY NEW ONE DIDNT COME INTIME FOR PAINT BUT a NWE FRONT BUMPER IS GETTING PAINTED AS WE SPEAK AND IM WAITING FOR A NEW GRILLE TO SHOW UP BUT FOR NOW IM BACK IN LOVE WITH HER

nice paint, see some dents on the hood i wouldve fixed before i painted but still good. yea what is from the si on here besides the paint and the ep3s?

everything from the b16a2 heart transplant to the full 2000 rear disc suspenion with trailing arms sway bars and disc brake cables front arms are also 2000 b16 and the oem si wing

rear above and the ep3 will be gone in two weeks ,I bought a set of ROTA RETRACK R2's 15 inch center is white with a 3 inch anadized Blue lip :-) i cant wait to put them on my car

I didnt know they had thiner eye lids and the hoods poped in the pictures that white its look a little funny and the ep3 will be gone soon as i get tires on R2's

painting skirts is pointless they always chip or end up getting mest up so i kept em black im keep my front and rear lips black so the side skirts are staying black to im picking up soem detail sprey to bring the black out a shine em up The Rims ARE SEX IN. I dont have 1,300 bucks to go buy real rims so those will have to do for now .

PS those are the only pics i took today ill do a full photoshoot when i put the new front bumper on and the lips

garbage like i said befor brand new front bumper getting painted and a set of oem fogs getting put on with the yellow glass , im not sure if im gonna paint match the fog light covers thou might leave em that greyish color

well im glad you did the swap and rear disk, but i still don't think its a good "replica" with out paint match si lip, si grill and side skirts. And my skirts have been painted for 5 years no chips.

ahh im far from done ive owned this car for 2 months and have come a great distance in a 2 month span ,im not sure about paint matching my lips and skirts imma look into photoshopin them on my car painted and not and see how it looks i might as well paint match em so the wheels im putting on bring everything togther but more goodies to come full si interior swap dash door panels inside panels and a set of rsx leathers


i just odered my si grill the one that on there is super mest up cracked and crap just waiting for my ups man to drop em off

well you've done alot in a short time then. Good job man. With that choice of wheels i would with out question paint match lips and skirts. I think black/white/blue won't flow as well as all white w/ a touch of blue. Thats how i have always tried to go w/ my car; only two colors on the outside. Green and polished. just my 2 cents tho buddy. keep up the good work.

i saw this earlier this morning, but never got to post. It looks good man!
cool thing about white imo, is that you can put just about an wheel color on them and look good.
is the sideskirt getting painted?

your right im am gonna paint match em now lol and yes ive put some blood sweat and tears into this little ex i cant wait till she's done the only thing that suck now willy is my gsr trans grind hard as balls into 3rd gear so now im lookin at tryna find a new b16 or gsr trans or getting mine rebuilt but once the tranny comes off i will refuse to put another one back on with out installin a full clutch kit upgrade including flywheel

Make sure they don't paint the grille part in the bumper. And yes, do leave the fog light covers gray.
