Silicone question.

Hi. My trunk is leaking and i found the leak i sealed it up with silicone but later on in the months the silcone got old and brown and start chipping off. Can anyone tell me a good brand or type of silicone to use to seal up gaps along my weather stripping? Any good experience with any?

maybe you should just get a new weatherstrip man, would be a easy and cheap fix

The gaps is along the metal next to the weather stripping where the water would run down.

ahhhh, well i have your cure, you need to get seam sealer, its what we use in the body shop when we put new quarter panels and stuff like that

You're best bet would be to get new weather stripping, silicone it into place.
