if you listen closely. this is what its supposed to be used for.
and when you hear it the two step set high like that in real life, its very VERY very loud. so it can be surprising.

Not awesome for the turbo to sit there doing it a bunch. That's a lot of shock pulses.

thats not really a 2 step. thats more of a form of launch control
To be honest, this was the first time i've heard a really loud 2 step. I still haven't heard one that loud in real life though. 
That was pretty badass for a gay ass neon.

if you listen to the engine.. there is no drop in RPM between shifts... essentially no turbo lag.
anti lag is VERY hard on your turbo and your engine... if not tuned properly... your car wont make it through the first shift.
