It doesnt really matter how much s**t you put on it, if a thief wants it, he's going to take it.

I agree. Back in High School, I used to jack cars. It's kinda funny, because we actually stole an Si. While we were stealing it, the alarm went off. No one came outside to check on the car. The guy just shut the alarm off.

No one pays attention to alarms. The are just seen as an annoyance.
Steering Wheel locks are useless. The steering wheel can be cut.
The clutch lock that holds the clutch or the brake up can either be kicked out or the floor pan can be drilled then cut out with tin snips.
If a guy really wants your car, no kill switch will do, because anyone that knows anything about automotive electronics can bypass them. In fact, I can get my 2000 Honda S2000 to start without a key and my brother's 2002 Honda Civic EX. And you supposedly need the chip in the keys to start them.

LOL @ the dumbasses that say "oh nothing works, clutch locks dont work, kill switches dont work". If you see it that way then nothing works. Leave your keys on top of your dash with your doors unlocked then.

As you would guess, car thieves are reviled on car forums. Do you still steal cars? If not, what's your job now?

i did this....

and only the faceplate to my stereo came up missing...

i had the windows down... doors unlocked... and keys hanging in the ignition.....

used to do that all the time. only thing ever come up missing was the faceplate.... and i lived at an apartment complex..

i still do it now.... like the past few days... the keys were sitting in the shiftboot crevasses... and the doors unlocked.... for like 4 days... nothing gone.

I'm sorry but even if you USED to steal cars, to this day I hope it happens to you. What goes around comes around and I will have no sympathy for you.

WTF does that even mean?
He's going to be with the big boys in Iraq :rolf:, but completely ignore the fact that 99% of the Private Military Contracts hire former Special Forces/Military/SWAT, they don't hire people off the street.

ive known of people that have used flat bed tow trucks to take cars. when you look legit with your flat bed and your safety vest in a mall parking lot, no one comes up and asks questions. its risky but its been done.

i have since learned my lesons of being a punk kid. i have had 2 cars stolen from me. karma? sure. why not. but unlike you some of us didnt grow up with money, some of us were not in the area where work was available or even an option of people of our/my stereotype. i DO NOT condone stealing, and i would not let any of my 3 kids fall into that life style. as young kids its easy and its exciting. but i also dont think calling someone or anyone that has made a change for the better and learned from their mistakes, name or wish bad things onto them. no one is perfect.

I grew up in the ghetto with no money and I didn't jack cars, even though I could have. The only thing I jacked as a kid was a copy of Pokemon from Walmart. I found other illegal things to do to make money that weren't directly detrimental to anyone. There is no excuse for stealing someone elses hard earned anything. I've had 2 of my cars stolen and that s**t blows, especially when you've poured you heart and pocketbook into keeping it up either as a track/show/DD car. Come on man.

^^ and this is why threads like these aren't allowed on cc. Members like this e-tough guy I quoted can't handle a post, they take it personal and have to resort to insulting. :thumbdown

not only that but another member made a post earlier that actually made some staff create a thread about it in the mod lounge. So certain staff can't even handle this thread either!

but I wish some of you girls could actually handle a cool thread like this one. so with that being said..... Closed! :x
