dumb question

ok i was about to order myself a wink 5 pannel mirror realized something...

everyone knows at night driving and someone is behind you and you dim you rear view so they dont blind you

do wink mirrors have these?

no the wink mirrors do not have a dimmer adjustment , but so far i have not been blinded at all when big trucks drive behind me

yea its nice to see all around you... but it is right in the line of sight... its in a CRX.. so you have to look under it all the time to see s**t infront of you

now remember this is a CRX...

the interior is of a LOW design anyway.

i used to have a hatch... and im 5'9" my head was close to the roof... and that was with the seat almost in full upright position.... becasue thats how i like to drive.

in the CRX... he has del sol seats in it... and the mirror is about 6 inches from my face. and thats with the seats the way i like it.

so that makes the panels at eye level. yea sure you could recline the seats... but i dont drive like that... so... its all a matter of preference i guess

do you tow a 100 foot boat or tractor trailer with your car on a regular basis or something? i get the idea of wanting to see behind you.. the wide mirror i ordered from IO Port racing accomplished that without hanging a piece of 12 foot mirror from the roof of my car..

if your worried about glares i suggest getting a 300mm broadway mirror blue tint

you can get the convex or just a straight one and yes they're wide

yah those wink mirrors are basically fan boy items, id just get a convex mirror, and save the other 4 feet of room in your car

That is the exact reason mine only made it for a day. I couldn't stand having to look under it. Now it sits in the box in the garage.
