I'm just stressin bout my brakes, wondering if I can get that slider pin out and replace/grease it if it'll save me from $180 calipers....

This is eating into my drop money........

yeah i posted some pix a few pages back, the whole pad isn't making contact on the pass side so I'm thinkin now it's either the slider pin we had problems w/or the calipers themselves.....

BTW my buddy who's going to the dells took a trip to the ditch, luckly just some cosmetic damage

What was the issue with the slider pin? Does it move smoothly? I'd try resetting the calipers and a bleeding your lines

well the thing is, the bolt was acting weird, it took huge force to break it loose, and was very tight through the threads.

Towards the end it would move, then just pull itself back, we couldn't get it out and were worried of breaking it. So I wasn't able to lube it, I might just try some more to see if I can get it out and buy a new pin to lube and put in.

I hope I can make it work.

Good morning gentlemen!

Attended my first NBA game last night, got the see the Bulls vs Celtics. Our point guard had a season high of 39 points. completely phenomenal!
This year Scottie Pippin made it to the hall of fame, durring half time he made a special appearance.

haha. surprisingly didn't have too squint to much. Next game i must sit alot closer though.

I would of loved to seen mid-90's(96' to be exact) Bulls play.

I haven't been to a Bears, Sox, nor Hawks game. Watched the Cubs along time ago, but didn't even have seat tickets. had to stand by the fence. lol
