I posted this on here last year, i'll find the link to it in a bit... I was on spring break in Cali and saw it happen. Obviously stopped to take pics...

I talked to the owner (and actually talked to the guys who took the footage and watched the raw video on their camera, as did the owner)..
Someone cut him off.. though he was speeding, and he tried to avoid the crash by swerving quickly down a side street.. lost control and knocked out the tree.

We drove by it literally 2 minutes after it happened.. he was just getting out of the car. We stopped, and stayed for the whole thing..

BTW: this is a 40th edition Murcielago.. only 50 in the WORLD were produced...

The owner's wife came, in some REALLY nice Mercedes CLK... and damn she was hot...

i doubt it, theres no way he would have gotten away with it. that car is extremely rare, it would have been easy to find.
